Diet Question –How Safe Is Your Weight Loss Program?

Posted by: yhtse

Tagged in: Untagged

Weight Loss ProgramIt’s been proven that many people become burned out when it comes to losing weight, while others simply obsess over their weight. In their excitement to lose weight, they make choices to skip breakfasts, lunches, or dinners thinking that this is the quickest way of getting rid of the stubborn fat.

This is not the way to go about it. Fasting and skipping meals is not a safe weight loss program.

So, how do you lose weight safely?

First of all, it is important to understand why you want to lose the weight. When you know this answer it will help you set your goals. You need to understand that not all weight loss programs are safe or beneficial to your health.

A safe weight loss program consists of providing your body with the necessary food and exercise it needs. No healthy weight loss program will require you to skip meals and simply focus on doing some aerobics in the gym.

Consequently, if your current weight loss program suggests crash dieting, then know that you are not on the right path to losing weight safely. I advise that you do stay away from these types of insane weight loss programs and focus on a healthier weight loss plan.

Here are some guidelines:

Eating Healthy Foods1. Eating healthy foods is very essential and valuable to fuel your body at all times. Your body is built to turn food into energy. Try to avoid eating foods that contain saturated fats and too many processed calories. At the same time, do not totally remove carbohydrates and fats from your diet. Your body needs both substances.

Do make sure that you are getting enough lean protein in your plan. One more thing; avoid consuming more calories than what you burn –balance the quantity of calorie-rich foods with the daily calorie expenditure. An imbalance may occur if you don’t and that could obstruct you from reaching your weight loss target.

Exercising2. Exercising, exercising, and exercising... you don’t have to regularly need to sweat it out with intensive activities but at least get up off your butt and start moving your body. Exercise like going to the gym can be very effective to help develop more lean muscle. You can also engage in some aerobic type activity such as cycling, swimming, jogging, skiing, etc.

So, start out easily and begin to work up to 1 hour a day. You can even invite some friends if that will help you make it more fun and enjoyable. If you don’t have to drive, avoid the car and walk. When you take a moment, consider how easy it can be for you to be active at all times.

3. Enjoy life. Don’t get too much obsessed with losing weight. Remember this is part of life not all of life.

So, select a weight loss program that you can follow, enjoy and commit to do.

Remember; skipping meals could lead to the negative side effects such as loss of energy, weakness, and of other problems. Eating well and exercising frequently is very important and you need to balance both.

So, just ask yourself again; “Is my weight loss program safe?”

If you are not too sure about it, maybe it’s time you located a weight loss specialist who will help you through the process of losing weight safely.

Get in touch with a weight loss therapist, who will help you establish a safe weight loss program and get rid of the fat. Most importantly choose to enjoy your life!

What You Need To Know About Diet Pills...

Tagged in: Untagged

Diet PillsNowadays, diet pills have become a rage in the weight loss community. Despite their harmful side effects on one’s health, diet pills are regarded as a “magic, just pop the pill” for resisting hunger and possibly burning fat.

There is even a group of medical doctors today that prescribe them to their patients. Diet pills are also available on the over the counter market and anyone can easily purchase one. However, what we often ignore is the real truth about diet pills.

There are things you need to know before considering using diet pills. It is quite understandable that over weight people a seeking to find new ways to deal with their nasty and embarrassing fat once and for all. Suppressing hunger is one common thought of controlling your weight.

Another is following a simple and effective eating program designed for you. However, far too many people wanting to lose weight are unable to resist hunger or should we say can’t stick to their weight loss program.

They often tend to break their plan and give into the emotional desire for the ‘forbidden’ meals or food. This leads them to believe that the only way to control their hunger is to use these appetite suppressants and fat burners.

Diet pills if used right can indeed be effective. Nonetheless, they are not good for everyone. Diet pills do come with many side effects range from high blood pressure, heart attacks, headaches, and even death.

Diet pills maybe best for people who have a BMI of 27 and over. Even so, you still need to be extra cautious when using them, as their side effects can be dreadful. One of the bigger risks of using diet pills is the risk of craving, which may be psychological and physical.

1. You should first consult a health care specialist prior to considering using diet pills. Diet pills may not be suitable for your health.

2. You should also consult people who have experience with these diet pills. Be well informed about their benefits, their side effects, and how long you can use them.

3. Pay particular attention to the pills’ label, including directions and precautions before using the product.

Moreover, it is totally wrong to think that weight loss pills are the solution to an automatic and fast weight loss without you exercising. It’s been proven that many people stop eating and working out once they commence using diet pills.

Have you considered what you are going to do when you finish the bottle?

How many bottles will you use so you are satisfied?

What will happen when you stop using them?

How will you eat and live without them?

In fact, the best way to quickly lose weight is to pursue it with exercise and a healthy eating program. Have you ever considered that athletes don’t diet? They use food for fuel. Food is the fuel to energize their exercise, have fun and live an exciting life.

Remember; prevention is better than cure.

Weightwatchers' MistakesYou may have a gnawing ambition to get rid of this awful fat, but the way you go about it may not really help. If you are not careful things may get even worse.

As they seek to be the ideal weightwatcher, they will endeavor to stick to the program for several days and even weeks, but at the long run, what they dreaded doing most suddenly occurs. They are unable to stick with their diet. They start consuming the same comfort foods the diet programs once had them avoid. In less than a week, they put on weight as fast as they lost it.

– Always pick out a flexible diet program that you can easily follow. Try to modify your current diet into this new eating pattern to ensure an effective and permanent weight loss.

– Your eating should comprise of a little of every healthy food group in your diet. Though, you still need to watch the portions of what you consume, do not be afraid to occasionally have a small candy.

– Stay focus at all times and set a more useful goal to enjoy this thinner lifestyle. However, if you are still finding difficulties in choosing the type of diet program will best suit you or need further help, do not hesitate to consult a specialist in weight management or a therapist.

Beware of Fake Life & Business Coaches

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

It doesn’t really matter the degrees and certifications they have. Certifications do not necessary make a coach. An authentic coach has the ability to cultivate your professional and personal skill-sets. A coach, who cares about your needs, does not sell too hard.

Before entrusting yourself to any coach, be it a life or business coach, ensure that they have understanding of organizational dynamics and exposes some formal training.

A coach who has never published books, does not offer auxiliary services, or is not part of any organization may only be interested in eating your money.

Coaching is an interview, an exchange of point of views between you –the coachee –and the coach. Stay away from any consultant, therapist, or coach who directs you toward answers without involving you in solving the problems.

A skilled coach will hold your hand in the step-by-step process of solving your problems. A good coach will engage you in dialogue; give you an insight into the matter, and eventually let you decide what is best for you by helping you make the right decision.

No skilled coach will sell his clients’ information. An authentic coach will have an in-depth conversation or will offer a trial session before either of you decide whether you are satisfied with the coaching relationship with each other.

An expert coach will provide support, and tips when necessary to help you enhance your skills, and resources. A good coach will inspire you to accomplish your dreams and not just dictate to you.

So, if a consultant does not expose such ethics, then know that you are certainly not dealing with a skilled coach; but rather wasting your time, money, and energy.

For an effective development of your personal, organizational, and professional skill-set, make sure you pick the right coach... a coach who is trained to listen, monitor and customize his or her approaches to meet your needs.

PHILLIES Baseball Sports Psychology – “We need to get on track.”

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

“We need to get on track.” (Ryan Howard)

So, what’s up with that? About a third of the way through the 2010 season and the Phillies are muddling along like they’ve lost their way. This group of well paid veteran baseball players seems unable to bring it together. What are we waiting for? What seems to be the problem? Rumor has it that they may be suffering psychologically from their slump.

So what do you do when the effects of a poor sports performance hit like a snowball rolling downhill? How does any athlete stop the downhill hypnosis slide and pull out a recovery?

  • Desire
  • Determination
  • Dedication
  • Focus
  • Confidence

It’s a short list and makes a recovery sound easy. However, pulling out of a performance slump can be one of the hardest things to do for any person in any occupation. Whether a professional athlete, corporate executive, high school student or anything in between, regaining peak performance will take some work. It’s a mental programming process. Let’s look at the process of overcoming the doldrums.

Desire - You want to change your performance level. You want to do better!

Determination – You have made up your mind to do what it takes to succeed. You want success!

Dedication – You have decided to devote your time and effort to your goal. Achievement in the end!

Focus – Your mind is back on your game and distractions are gone. It’s all about your game!

Confidence – You know you have what it takes to perform. You know you can win!

I’ve spent years training athletes to train their minds along with their bodies. I’ve shown athletes in every arena of play how to stay motivated, focused, and confident. I developed The Stofka Method, as a safe and highly effective means to transform negative thought patterns into winning thought patterns for sports performance psychology and mental training . Winning thought patterns are critical when it’s game time. Athlete’s play to win and no other outcome satisfies like a win!

I currently have players as young as 11 to in there 40’s that we have turned around inconsistent throws and broken batting slumps. Many of these mental training and rewiring sessions has been so dramatic that several of my high school players have been able to increase their college scholarships.

If I had the opportunity to talk to the Phillies, one on one or as a team, I might say to them, “Lets turn your mind back on, your game! Your winning game. You are champions! It’s time for you to let your body play your game like the champions you are. Success is out there, just make up your mind to go get it!” GET BACK ON TRACK…

As a father, I am not a smoker and as far as I can recall, I have never touched a cigarette before in my entire life. I don't think that I will ever consider smoking, notably when I know the damages that tobacco smoke can cause especially to dads.

I personally know of many people who started smoking at a very young age and how its mess up their lives. Unfortunately, many of them never quit smoking – they are committed to smoking and have no idea as to when they will stop –and the question is if they will ever refrain from cigarettes.

Each time they get frustrated, embarrassed, or misunderstood, they set their hands on cigarettes as if these cancer sticks could eventually release them from their misery. I know how hard it is to give up on something that has become a part of your daily activities.

So many former smokers have made it through; you too should come over this deadly habit.

Why You Too Must Quit Smoking?

1. Former smokers believe that they worth living a healthy life (which of course, every good person deserves). They want a better health and probably do not want to die prematurely as a result of smoking as it is usually the case. Nothing is so bitter than to die in your middle age.

2. They did not want to be a statistic by one of the fatal diseases that come along with smoking; coronary heart disease, chronic disruptive lung disease –emphysema and bronchitis – and lung cancer. There is nothing so thrilling than to having the energy to go about your activities and being able to make your breathing easier.

According to analysis, after quitting smoking, your lungs regain their vitality –they work up to 10% more efficiently. So what kind of sane person would wants to pump into the body a poisonous gas that connects with red blood cells that will not permit them carry more oxygen?

3. Smelling better Nothing is disgusting than to smell tobacco smoke. This could even cost you a job.

4. Smoking is expensive beside the fact that it ruins your life. Take for instant the average retail price of Marlboro Cigarettes going for $4.25 up to $12.00, you wouldn't save much on your Term Life Assurance, especially if you tend to be a regular smoker. Some former smokers I know told me that they were fed up losing their moneys on a product that will eventually ruin their lives.

Make a quick calculation yourself and you will know how much you are spending per annum on cigarettes at current retail prices: [Average number of cigarettes smoked per day multiplied by $160]. That makes a pack a day smoker spending at least $3200 a year plus all the other incidentals that are purchased.

5. If you don't care about your health some friends of yours do. Spouse, your children and grandkids

You probably have loved ones who wouldn't want to miss you. You should consider this carefully, before it is too late. Stop smoking today.

See how Philly Hypnosis can help you quit smoking

Thanks to efficient smoking solutions like that of The Stofka Method, a combination of performance hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistics Psychology. This is done by "rewiring the mind" from the condition habits of smoking (smoking after meals, being stressed etc.) to craving fresh air and being free without the need for prescription drugs. Besides creating happy and successful smoke free individuals, The Stofka Method has helped transform people for Weight Loss, Business Performance, and Sports Performance Psychology.

Stofka has guided hundreds to a healthier, happier, smoke-free lifestyle His method that he developed, The Stofka Method can help break the chains of addiction to cigarettes. Imagine by-passing the physical and mental withdrawal symptoms of nicotine addiction without drug induced side effects. What if you were to feel healthier after just one visit? What would it be like if, finally, after all those years, you will be able to call yourself an EX-smoker!

Its time for you to make a difference in your life. It's time for you to take control. Make the choice. Choose to be healthy. Choose to quit smoking today!

On this day quitters truly are winners!
